Ce3+:Nd:YAG is of the unique crystals to produce the air-cooled and miniature lasers with 1064nm wavelength. It should be noted that this crystal has about 30-50% more laser efficiency compared with Nd:YAG laser crystal in flash lamp pumped lasers. Other significant laser properties of Ce:Nd:YAG crystal are low threshold, anti-violet radiation and high repetition frequency for lasers operation. This crystal has high thermal radiation conduction and good mechanical and thermal specifications.
